American movie and telvision watchers: don't look now, but we've been invaded. These actors have all managed to pull off an American accent, supressing their natural dialects for our Yankee drawl. Check out these five actors who sound as American as apple pie, even if they'd perhaps prefer a nice crumpet.

Emma Watson: 2011 BAFTA Beauty

Emma Watson: 2011 BAFTA Beauty

Making her way to the red carpet, Emma Watson was among the stars partaking in the Orange British Academy Film Awards 2011 in London, England on Sunday (February 13).

Held at The Royal Opera House, the "Harry Potter" actress looked darling as she readied for the much-awaited BAFTA festivities.

The ceremony sees Jonathan Ross as host for the fifth year while being broadcast on BBC1.
Of the event, Deputy Bafta chairman David Parfitt was high on British films this year around, as he said, "British film has always punched above its weight in the film world. British film is always quite well represented in the Oscars as well as the Baftas."

"It's not that we have a particular bias. British film in general plays well around the world because it's very good."

Emma Watson’s Wallflower Project

Emma Watson’s Wallflower Project

Looking ahead to the future, Emma Watson has just announced that she’s scored a role in an upcoming adaptation film titled "Perks of Being a Wallflower".

The “Harry Potter” hottie took to her Twitter page to share the news with her scores of devoted fans.
Emma tweeted, “Hi all, just wanted to tell you that for once a story in the papers is true! I’m filming Perks of Being a Wallflower this summer. Can’t wait!”

In “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” Emma will play a close friend and love interest of a 15-year-old named Charlie, who is coping with the suicide of his best friend.

Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born 15 April 1990) is an English actress and model who rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger, one of three starring roles in the Harry Potter film series. Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of nine, having previously acted only in school plays. From 2001 to 2009, she starred in six Harry Potter films alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint; she will return for the final two installments: the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Watson's work on the Harry Potter series has earned her several awards and more than £10 million. She made her modelling debut for Burberry's Autumn/Winter campaign in 2009.

In 2007, Watson announced her involvement in two non-Harry Potter productions: the television adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes and an animated film, The Tale of Despereaux. Ballet Shoes was broadcast on 26 December 2007 to an audience of 5.2 million, and The Tale of Despereaux, based on the novel by Kate DiCamillo, was released in 2008 and grossed over US $70 million in worldwide sales.
