In a small town called Donegal

Robert and I are hitchhiking around the north of Ireland, the republic, it is breathtakingly beautiful here and I am endlessly surprised about how nice people can be. Hitching is a breeze, we usually don't wait more than 10 minutes. When we are not hitching, we are taking amazing walks - sighting a wild deer jumping over a fence in the wilderness, and the dramatic and imposing cliffs of Slieve yesterday when it was a beautifully sunny day (doesn't come by too often in Ireland)....

I am happy. Despite of the rain it is easy to smile here, at people, because they always smile back, and they're always willing to help or make your life a little easier. Also of course, travelling with Robert is easy, there's no stress and always good food and good music, and with that comes good company. We met a hitchhiker Rolf from Switzerland on the way at Glenveagh National Park, and later at a campsite, so we kind of travelled together yesterday and it was pretty nice, but now we are moving onwards to a music festival in Cavan. After which we will have to get back to Belfast, and myself onwards to Dublin, where I will fly to England.

Anyway - gotta go, free Internet is always good but I should not hog it. Till the next time I get access, love and hugs to all!
