Twit of the Day: Drunk Driver Finds Ideal Parking Space for his Range Rover Sport

A security camera in Russia caught a drunk driver in a Ranger Rover Sport climbing the doorsteps and parking the luxury SUV right in front of the entrance of an apartment building in Chelyabinsk, a city located to the east of the Ural Mountains, on Miass River. The intoxicated driver is seen in the security video stumbling out of the British SUV with a bottle in his hand.

Land Rover Releases Full UK Pricing and Specs on Range Rover Evoque 5D and Coupe [New Photo Gallery]

The first examples of the new Range Rover Evoque won’t be arriving in UK dealerships until September, but the automaker has released pricing information on both variants of its luxury crossover. The Evoque will be offered with a choice of three engines, two body styles, three design themes and a variety of options and accessories. Pricing for the five-door model starts from £27,955 for the eD4 Pure with a 6 Speed manual and 2WD, while the three-door version with the same powertrain from £28,950.

Land Rover Celebrates Production Milestone of 250,000th Freelander 2

Today, Land Rover celebrates a new milestone in the life of its Freelander 2 as the 250,000th vehicle rolled off the production line at the Company's Halewood manufacturing plant in Merseyside. The 250,000th Freelander 2 is a 2.2 litre TD4 Diesel GS in Fuji White and is destined for a customer who lives in Scotland.

Arden gets its hands on the New Range Rover Evoque, Creates the 270HP AR8 City-Roader

We’re still a few months away from the market launch of the all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque, but the tuning folks over at Arden have already unwrapped their plans for the British firm’s ‘baby’ SUV model. Named the Arden AR8 City-Roader, the German firm’s take on the Evoque includes a number of cosmetic enhancements and performance modifications.

Land Rover released a whimsical Freelander 2 ad that playfully expresses the fun and family aspect of the Land Rover brand.

The Bad

MINI is getting set to reveal two new products at this week's coming Frankfurt Auto Show: the MINI coupe and Roadster Concept. To promote the twin reveal, MINI has released their Two Untamed campaign. It has to be the strangest, most disturbing thing I've seen from MINI, who usually creates great ads.





The Ugly

As the hosts of Burnout Radio shared with me "this afternoon regarding the new Mercedes SLS AMG, "oh god that's hideous, i think i just threw up a little bit."

This ugly isn't about the idea or production value of the reveal video Mercedes-Benz TV released. No this ugly is the product. After a 46 year hiatus, the return of the Mercedes Gullwing should have resulted in a perfect vehicle - much like the beauty that is the timeless 300SL. Instead, Mercedes gave the world a stub-nosed, rakish rear-end coupe that disappoints. Maybe they were set up for failure as following the 300SL really is an impossible task.
