The Junior was the last car to wear the DKW badge. It was one of the last Western cars to use a 2 stroke engine.
According the the Standard Catalog of Imported Cars, Mercedes Benz, who owned DKW at the time, imported these into the US, but this is the first one I've seen.
DKW / Auto Union were eventually bought by Volkswagen and, along with the NSU brand, became what we know as Audi today.
Based on the pictures, this DKW Junior Deluxe appears to be in very restorable condition. All the trim seems to be there and there appears to be remarkably little rust.
If you're looking for a car that would be unique at most North American car shows, this DKW might be a good choice. The asking price is a reasonable $1000.00.
