From 1957 through 1962 you could buy a Vauxhall Victor at your local Pontiac dealer. They didn't sell well, though. GM put very little effort into marketing them.
Although produced in England, the Victor has a distinct US look to it with small fins, big chrome bumpers and side body accent strips.
The Victor came with a 1500cc engine and a 3 speed manual transmission.The seller leaves very little information about the car in his ad. He does mention that the motor "runs". This car needs a complete restoration, but appears to be remarkably rust free. (Vauxhalls were notorious for rust.) A restored Vauhall is not worth a lot of money. Restoring this car would be a labor of love. I hope someone takes it on.
