This is a Saab 900 Turbo. It's not an SPG, SIS or Commemorative Edition. It's just a Saab 900 Turbo. There is nothing wrong with that.
This is a high mileage California car. While Saabs are not 100% trouble free cars, they do last a long time if maintained. The 222K on this one shouldn't scare you.
Being a California car, it is rust free. Saab bodies hold up pretty well in general, but in areas where salt is applied to the road (like where I live) they start to rust around the wheel wells.
I'm not a fan of dark tinted windows, but the tint on this one probably saved the interior. For a 22 year old car with a lot of miles on it, the interior looks great. (It looks like there might be some cracks in the dash, which is covered. This is not a show car and the cover looks good, so really, who cares?)
I like the "classic" 900s. Here in New England, where they were once very common, they're starting to disappear. The few cars that have been preserved or restored are usually convertibles or one of the special editions. There's nothing wrong with those cars - I've often thought about buying a convertible - but it's just really cool to see a basic, well used, 900 Turbo in this kind of condition.
The asking price is $1995.00, which might be a little on the high side given the miles, but the seller is open to offers.
